I build and lead delivery on backend systems that hold up in production, currently on ONAP's Configuration Persistence Service, a Linux Foundation Networking open-source project. Lately I've been deepening into Generative AI through a diploma at IIIT-Bangalore.

About

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, leading a team of 5+ engineers on ONAP CPS (Configuration Persistence Service), a Linux Foundation Networking open-source project. Since 2021 I've shipped 90+ code changes and owned the Delta Report feature end to end: from an RFC comparison and design proposal, through REST API implementation and Kafka-based event notifications, to multi-year production hardening. I've authored 40+ design documents and regularly review peer proposals as part of ONAP's community process.

Core strengths: Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, Kafka, team leadership, and stabilizing flaky CI and performance test suites at scale. I'm currently specializing in Generative AI through a Machine Learning & AI diploma from IIIT-Bangalore, and I'm open to backend, engineering leadership, and GenAI/ML platform roles.

  1. Senior Software Engineer

    Apr 2023 – Present
    Tech Mahindra · ONAP CPS
    • Lead a team of 5+ developers, owning technical direction and code-review standards on the CPS microservice while retaining hands-on feature ownership
    • Designed and delivered the Delta Report feature end to end: from an RFC comparison (RFC 9144 vs. 6902) through REST APIs, Kafka event integration, and multi-year production hardening
    • Integrated delta computation into Kafka event notifications, enabling real-time configuration-drift detection across telecom network functions
    • Designed and delivered the Composite Query Engine: a multi-condition query API and its core search algorithm
    • 80+ contributions since 2021; authored ~40 design and analysis documents and participated in peer review as the project's design-review process matured
  2. Software Developer

    • Delivered V2 of the Get APIs and led impact analysis on the downstream CPS core APIs it affected
    • Extended read APIs to return whole lists and multiple data trees under a single anchor; built the sample YANG/JSON datasets used across the test suite
    • Fixed the PATCH operation across multiple data trees and standardized inconsistent response codes on the Core Data Node APIs
    • Raised unit-test coverage and cleared SonarQube findings on new API surface

    • Delivered first production contributions to Linux Foundation's ONAP project, ramping up on Java/Spring Boot, YANG modeling, Gerrit review, and Groovy/Spock testing

A high-performance, model-driven data repository at the core of ONAP (Open Network Automation Platform), serving as the centralized source of truth for network configuration and runtime data. Uses YANG data models to validate and structure data, decoupling data management from business logic across cloud-native network automation.

3D Tracking of an Individual using AR (AR Tag)

An augmented-reality tracking system pairing an IoT-based GPS tracker with an Android app. Projects the real-world route from the user to the tracked tag using AR, offering a more intuitive alternative to conventional navigation for tracking vehicles, people, or assets.
